Why Fraud Can No Longer Be Fought Alone

Fraud is networked; criminal organizations coordinate attacks across institutions in real-time. But institutions still operate in isolation, fighting fraud with only their own data, while threats evolve faster than intelligence can travel.

The intelligence layer missing from the fraud ecosystem

Fraud Watch provides the governed coordination and shared intelligence institutions need.

Share & Coordinate

Submit incidents in a standardized format and share them securely
across the network. Your institution’s identity is never revealed. Members see the threat, never who reported it.

Detect & Alert

AI analyzes patterns hourly to detect surges, clusters, and coordinated campaigns. When threats emerge, you receive alerts tailored to your risk profile.

Search & Act

Access the network database and filter by fraud type, region, or date. Review incident details and act early to prevent similar fraud attempts.

With every new institution, the Fraud.Watch intelligence network grows stronger across the U.S.

How the network works

1

One institution reports it

A member submits a structured fraud incident into the governed network,

2

The network recognizes it

AI detects patterns across reports-surges, clusters, and coordinated campaigns surface in hours.

3

Everyone responds faster

Alerts reach your fraud team before the threat reaches your institution. Ready, not reactive.

How fast fraud moves vs. How fast intelligence travels

Without Fraud Watch

  • Monday:
Credit union in Oregon detects elder fraud
  • Wednesday::
Email warning sent to state association
  • Friday:
    Association forwards to members
  • Monday (next week):
    Your fraud team reads it
  • Tuesday (next week):
    Similar fraud hits your institution

With Fraud Watch

  • Monday 9 AM:
    Credit union submits detailed report
  • Monday 3 PM:
AI detects pattern (3 similar reports, 6 hours)
  • Monday 3:15 PM:
    Your alerts notify fraud team
  • Tuesday:
When fraudsters reach your region, you're ready
The difference: Hours, not weeks.

FAQs

Is this actually being used, or is it just a concept?

Fraud Watch is launching Q2 2026 with Best Innovation Group and pilot credit unions across North America. The platform is built and operational, we’re now onboarding founding institutions.

Our credit union is small. Is this only for larger institutions?

No. Fraud Watch is specifically designed for community banks and credit unions that need early visibility into fraud patterns but don’t have the resources to build national intelligence networks alone. Smaller institutions benefit the most from network intelligence.

How do we control what gets shared and who sees it?

Everything is governed by design. You control what you submit, who has access, and what alerts you receive. Role-based permissions ensure only authorized users see sensitive data. Every action is logged and traceable for examination purposes.

What information actually gets shared in a fraud report?

Institution names and client data never leaves your institution. What gets in the network is fraud intelligence, patterns, methods, and evidence. Never names, account numbers, or personal identifiers.

Will other institutions know we reported an incident?

No. Reports are anonymous within the network. Members receive the fraud intelligence, never the identity of the reporting institution.

We already get fraud alerts from our core provider and industry groups. Why do we need this?

Fraud Watch doesn’t replace your fraud detection tools, it adds the cross-institution intelligence layer they can’t provide. Your core provider sees only your data. Industry bulletins arrive days or weeks late. Fraud Watch detects patterns across institutions in hours and delivers alerts tailored to your risk profile.

How does AI work without adding regulatory risk?

AI operates inside governed workflows with full traceability. It runs hourly scheduled pattern analysis, detecting surges, clusters, and coordinated campaigns then generates alerts. Your fraud team makes all decisions. There’s no black box, no autonomous actions, and every analysis is auditable.

How long does it take to get up and running?

As fast as you are. Setup includes configuring user roles, alert criteria, and initial training. You can start submitting reports and receiving alerts immediately once access is granted.

What happens if we want to leave the network?

You maintain full control. You can stop participating at any time. Your submitted reports remain in the network (to preserve intelligence for other institutions), but you lose access to network data and alerts when you leave.

Tired of fighting fraud alone?

Fraud Watch is designed to start small, prove value fast, and scale to a national network without losing governance.
